Biography

I am a Professor of Computer Engineering in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (DTU Compute) at the Technical University of Denmark. I am also a Visiting Professor at Mälardalen University in Sweden.

My research lies at the intersection of automatic control, computing systems, and cyber-physical systems. I use feedback control, model predictive control, optimization, and formal reasoning to make software-intensive systems predictable, adaptive, and resource-aware under uncertainty.

The work spans self-adaptive software, real-time and embedded systems, cloud and edge computing, robotics, industrial automation, and resilient cyber-physical systems. Before joining DTU, I held postdoctoral positions at Politecnico di Milano and Lund University and received my PhD from Politecnico di Milano.
